"Our perfect wedding" host replaced by her sister

anele95.7 FM afternoon driver and "Clash of the choirs SA" judge Anele Mdoda (pictured) is one of the names taking over the "Our perfect host" presenting ropes from her sister Thembisa.

Anele, together with Jessica Nkosi will be guest presenters on the show from the 5th of June. This is as Thembisa, after attending 19 beautiful weddings and ushering couples to their blissful union in Season 6 of "Our Perfect Wedding", will go on a break from the 29th of May and will return on Sunday, 10 July 2016.

The vivacious presenter has been shooting with the show non-stop since taking over from comedian/presenter Tumi Morake. She will be taking the short vacation to recharge.

"After so many amazing episodes, I'm honoured that South Africans still appreciate seeing me on their screens, as we celebrate the love and beautiful weddings of the various couples," she says. "I have decided to take some time off to regroup and gear-up for more exciting weddings to come. I can't wait to return and take the viewers through more amazing weddings after my holiday."

Fresh from wrapping up the 3rd season of Mzansi's favourite choral show, "Clash of the Choirs SA" as a judge, Anele looks forward to witnessing the couples' last few hours leading up to the altar by documenting their matrimonial journey. Best known as a radio personality, presenter, comedienne, MC, judge on Miss South Africa, "Clash", and now executive producer on ..., Anele says: "Ever since we were young, we have always looked out for each other and this is no different. I am looking forward to this experience because I am a huge fan of the show."

Jessica Nkosi will be up first to guest present Mzansi's favourite wedding reality show on the 5th of June and 12 June 2016, followed by Anele Mdoda on the 19th of June until 3 July. The well-known actress famous for her role as Qondi on Mzansi Magic's telenovela-turned-soap-opera, "Isibaya", will also get to experience OPW as a host. Over a short span of time in the entertainment industry, the dynamic actress, theatre performer, dancer, singer, writer and MC has become a household name with a number of award nominations under her belt.

"It is a great privilege to be part of such a huge production. "Our Perfect Wedding" is the main course on Mzansi Magic's Sunday viewing and as someone who loves weddings, love, décor and beautiful things, I cannot wait to be part of this experience from the beginning, to the end," says Nkosi.

"Thembisa Mdoda has had a very successful run with the show and deserves some time to herself and her family," says Head of Publicity for Local Interest Channels, Nondumiso Mabece. "In this time we have enlisted the services of two of our talented personalities and viewer favourites to add their flair to this exhilarating show. We cannot wait to see what they will bring to this demanding and exciting role."

The show must go on... Thembisa Mdoda will return as the host on the 10th of July 2016. "Our Perfect Wedding" broadcasts every Sunday on Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161) at 19:00.
